“For every minute spent organizing, an hour is earned.”
~ Benjamin Franklin
If you need more stuff to organize your stuff, then you have too much stuff. The key to being organized and living a simpler life is by decluttering. By removing clutter from your home, it does not mean you have to become a minimalist. It simply means you are removing the stress of disorder, chaos, and the inability to manage all of your “stuff.” Clutter prevents you from enjoying your space. Holding on to excess tangible items forces you to remain living a life that no longer exists for you. Change is inevitable; and, with that change comes the need to eliminate a past that no longer represents who you are today. Ask yourself: Do you love it? Would you buy it today? Does it hold a purpose in your current lifestyle? Your home characterizes you. Being able to look at each item within your home and allowing it to bring you joy is the ultimate goal. Taking care of yourself also means taking care of your environment.
